Graciela got to know CEFIM project through a newspaper that her 4th grade teacher showed her at the time. From then on, her wish to improve herself began as she studied Medium Technical Level Gastronomy in CEFIM. She appreciated the comprehensive training and had the privilege in living in the student’s residence.

Her dream was to start a hotel in Coroico, a high tourist point in the region where she was born. She managed to fulfil her dream and start an accommodation business with a capacity for 30 people. Her target market is tourists and visitors that are backpackers and she made sure to consider that many of these people visiting Coroico may not always have high income.

Last year she also started working at CEFIM which made a big difference in her life. She states, ‘working on the project makes me feel like being with my family.’ She also values their affection, respect and patience. She was also able meet the ambassador of Australia for the first time which was very exciting as she had the privilege to know where the project came from. Knowing that CEFIM is a Training Centre for Women, teamwork and the education of each person is unique and their love for teaching us work is great at CEFIM. Graciela is a testament of perseverance and her gratitude and example is truly inspiring.

I learnt that ethical and moral education are tools to my daily life
