What we do.

Reledev has 3 types of projects.

International
Development Projects

Reledev has supported 16 education-based projects in 11 developing countries. To implement these projects we work with reputable partner NGOs in each country, currently, our project partners are in the Philippines, Nicaragua and Bolivia.

Our International Development Projects are part of the Australian Non-Government Cooperation Program (ANCP) which assists Reledev with partial funding and support. Australian private donations also directly support these projects.

We also have volunteered in over 13 different countries with high school and university students to aid in the development of communities locally and abroad.

Current projects.

  • Bolivia.

    CEFIM
CENTRO EDUCACION FORMACION INTEGRAL DE LA MUJER

CEFIM works under a Bolivian NGO called Civil Association AYNI. Reledev’s project with CEFIM is to establish a real enterprise, ‘La Especiaria’ which is whole operated by CEFIM’s students to develop combined skills in gastronomy and business. Most of the students are Indigenous Bolivian women from areas of economic and social disadvantage.

  • Nicaragua.

    ANDECU
ASOCIACION NICARAGUENSE DE EDUCACION Y CULTURA.

Centro Educativo Vega Baja (CEVB) is established by ANDECU to provide vocational training to women in the region of Diriamba. Reledev’s project with CEVB is to support women in remote areas who characteristically receive low levels of education and employment possibilities through income generating skills and initiatives.

  • Philippines.

    FPTI
    FOUNDATION FOR PROFESSIONAL TRAINING INCORPORATED.

Banilad Centre for Professional Development (BCPD) is the vocational training school of FPTI.
Reledev’s project with BCPD is aimed at training young people from rural and remote areas including indigenous youth. A strong focus is on partnerships with the local Business Community to guarantee immediate employment.

Volunteer
International Projects

Young Australian volunteers reach out to international communities to provide short term relief, education and encouragement to individuals and families living in poverty. These projects are for 2-3 weeks, fully fundraised by the volunteers. Reledev’s Australian Partners: Creston College, Tangara School and Nairana Study Centre coordinate and manage these projects.

DREAM Australia

In 2015 Reledev began a mentoring program between university students and refugee high school students. Recognising the challenge for refugees to feel welcomed and supported our program is designed to provide peer support to refugees assisting them with individual tuition, leadership programs and genuine friendship.
