the project.

Reledev believes quality education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Reledev’s therefore supports financially and corporately a program to place marginalised students in one of the most successful and well regarded training school in the Philippines. Students who are given this opportunity excel & their employment flows lifts up their whole family financially and socially.

The training school, Banilad Centre for Professional Development (BCPD) offers students not only nationally recognised training courses as a pathway into the Tourism and Hospitality Industry but importantly they offer what other schools do not provide, individual mentoring and ‘On The Job’ training with loyal industry partners

Local women from marginalised backgrounds are employed in real jobs.

what we’ve achieved.

  • Since 2005, Reledev has supported senior high school girls and young women in the Philippines.

  • By 2022 more than 4,500 young women have received employment directly as a result of the targeted program

  • Families of BCPD students are actively supported by volunteers and various relief initiatives every year.

  • Industry support is strong, companies now preference BCPD graduates over other schools.

  • Persons with Disabilities are increasingly supported by BCPD in a tailored program to assist them into employment or micro-enterprise

  • Developed significant connections in Australia with Australian student volunteers and industry peer support.

“BCPD also imparted to us knowledge not only on how to become good in all things that we are doing but also on how to remain grateful for all the blessings received no matter how hard and challenging life may seem. BCPD never fails to let us feel how special we are.”
