Would you like to give back to the community of Western Sydney? The DREAM Project is in need of male university student mentors to support the boys program.

As a male mentor, you will have the ability to influence change as your task is to listen, guide and support male refugee high school students. This will occur every week during term for around 1.5 hours a week.

You will receive training on how to mentor the students and also get a professional mentor yourself. Other skills you can learn are designing training materials, giving presentations and managing a workshop group.

You will need to commit to DREAM for at least 12 months.

The feeling of seeing the students we were working with – growing up, gaining new skills and overcoming their insecurities is something I cannot describe with words. I can just say I would have loved to have something like the DREAM Project back when I was at high school.
